Aloha and Hauʻoli Makahiki Hou (Happy New Year)!
I’ve been working on my goals for the year and life in general. This was more than setting my priorities. I also started working on a “don’t do” list for those things I don’t enjoy or don’t fit in with my priorities. These items will be removed from my schedule. For everything you say yes to, you’re saying no to something else in its place.
I had been working to make my The Aloha Dad website a “real” blog, growing the audience and type of content I wrote about. I quickly discovered as much as I like coding and writing, the marketing and promoting aspects weren’t for me. I have no desire to do that, so I moved all the recipes here and will stop using The Aloha Dad.
I’m getting rid of several domains I own and consolidating everything into two sites: GeoffreyShilling.com and OrangeRiverDev.com. GeoffreyShilling.com will become a hub primarily for our family’s cooking resources. OrangeRiverDev.com is where I’ll be working on learning web development and creating projects.

Aloha, a hui hou (until we meet again)!
